Meredith Connell link with the Coroners Office?

A source has recently advised me that one of the three Auckland Coroners is a woman by the name of Morag McDowall. Apparently, Ms McDowall worked for Meredith Connell Lawyers between 1997 – 2001.

Meredith Connell is the law firm that attempted to have me struck from the speaking register at an upcoming Coroners meeting where I will be speaking on issues relating to the appalling state of New Zealands Mental Health Services. Why is this important you ask?

Because Ms McDowall also happens to be Mrs Skipworth – the wife of the former Deputy Director of Mental Health, Dr Jeremy Skipworth.

Can someone spell “conflict of interest” for me?

Psychologist struck off for having sexual relationship with client.

The Psychologist was the former President of the New Zealand Psychological Society, and blames bullying by Mental Health worker colleagues as a result of her decision.

ADHB & Meredith Connell Lawyers attempt to block Psychwatch NZ from appearing at Coroners Hearing.

It would appear that the Auckland District Health Board is so concerned about Psychwatch NZ appearing and speaking at an upcoming Coroners Hearing, they have hired Meredith Connell Lawyers in an attempt to block me from speaking at the hearing.

Fortunately, it also appears that the Coroner has had the good sense to overturn the application by the ADHB, and that I will be presenting a statement to the Coroners Hearing in Auckland, in September.

Meredith Connell Lawyers apparently printed off the entire Psychwatch NZ site in their failed attempt – guess they have never heard of hyper-links………………………………………………………………………………
